Back To Back Game

Back to back is a fun youth ministry and party game. This game is easy to learn and fun to play. Back to Back is fast pace so be prepared to keep up with the flow!
Things You’ll Need:
10 or More Players

Step 1
Back to back works best with an odd number of players. Everyone gets a partner leaving one person to be IT.
Step 2
The person who is IT will call out BACK TO BACK! and the couples need to stand back to back with each other. This starts the game.
Step 3
The person who is IT then calls out FACE TO FACE! and the couples turn to face each other and shake hands.
Step 4
From here on out, when the person who is IT calls out BACK TO BACK! the couples must find a new person to stand back to back with. The person who it IT will try to take someones place. Once everyone has a partner, the person without a partner is IT.
Step 5
Remember, the person who is IT (calls after the first round) starts by calling out FACE TO FACE and everyone faces their partner and shakes hands. Then the person who is IT will call out BACK TO BACK and they all race to find a new partner.
Step 6
VARIATIONS:
1. If you have an even number of players, have two people be IT and the last two to find a partner will become IT.
2. You can switch things up and have a game where girls have to partner with a girl and boys have to partner with a boy. Then change so boys have to partner with a girls. Just remember you will need an even amount of girls and boys and you will probably have two players being IT.
3. Have the couples form a circle around the player who is IT. Tell the girls they can only travel right to find a new partner and the boys can only travel left (clockwise and counter-clockwise). Then vice-a-versa.

Tips & Warnings
Remind the players the goal is fun so they should not be unnecessarily rough when running to find a new partner. No one wants to get hurt.
