Reindeer Cupcakes

Reindeer Cupcakes are so cute they are sure to be a hit at any Christmas party. You children will love how easy they are to make and how great they taste.INGREDIENTS:
Cupcakes (baked from your favorite recipe)
Chocolate Frosting
Round, Lollipops (Blow Pops or Tootsie Pop work great)
M&M’s Candies
Black Decorators’ Gel Frosting
Pretzels
Red Shoestring Licorice

DIRECTIONS:
1. Frost a cooled cupcake with chocolate frosting.

2. Unwrap a round, chocolate lollipop (Blow Pop or Tootsie Pop works well).

3. Trim the stem of your lollipop so it is about 1 inch long. Stick it into the center of the cupcake for your reindeer nose.

4. Place 2 M&M’s candies above the nose and dot them with black decorators’ gel frosting.

5. Break large thin pretzels into antler shapes (this may take some practice!). If you can’t get them broken right, try using

6. Insert the antlers into the top side of the cupcake (above the eyes).

7. Finally, add a short piece of red shoestring licorice for a mouth.

* These are irresistibly cute and your children will have a blast creating them.

* To make Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer, use a red lollipop.

* If you want to cut back on some of the sugar, you can use smaller lollipops (Dum-Dum’s work fine).
