Scratch And Sniff Watercolor Paint
Scratch and Sniff Watercolor Paint is fun for kid’s of all ages. Your artwork can come to life through fun scented paint. This is a great inexpensive way to give your children hours of fun and a love for art. This is a great project for a child’s birthday party.
Things You’ll Need:
2 Tablespoon Unsweetened Powdered Drink Mix (Kool-Aid)
2 Tablespoon Warm Water
Several small containers (baby food jars work well for storing)
Food Coloring (Optional)
Scratch and Sniff Watercolor Paints are easy to make and fun to use. They are sure to be the hit of any party.
Step 1
Mix 1 tablespoon of unsweetened powdered drink mix (Kool-Aid works great) and 1 tablespoon of warm water in a small baby food jar.
Step 2
Repeat the first step for as many different colors as you want to make. You can add a few drops of food coloring for darker shades of paint.
Step 3
Once your colors are mixed, paint your picture. Let it dry overnight before scratching and sniffing. Thicker paper works best when using watercolors. Construction paper holds up well when scratching your picture.
